Passion for Football Academy
Football is the most famous sport in the world. We have seen how football has become such a massive industry that is not only based in the passion for the sport but also in thousands of millions invested in marketing and promotion. We have seen how the industry has begun its transformation going from a place where passion and the will to defend the colors of your team meant everything in football. People gathered to see world cups and the teams where mainly conformed by local people. Well, all that has changed. Now we see how lots of marketing is used along football to launch certain products. Football has become an industry that moves millions of dollars. We see how player go from one team to another being paid enormous amounts of money. A professional football player can also be a model and image of different kinds of products. And when we see the world cup we can appreciate how players become nationals in certain countries only to be able to play for the national team. Everything has changed drastically.
All this phenomena has also changed the way in which our kids perceive football. If you go on the streets and ask them you will see how for some kids footballs become a career plan. They go to a Football academy since they are very little and they practice and practice because they want to be the best so they can become a professional football player. They want to do it because they like the sport but also because they could become millionaire and famous. It seems that feeling passion about doing it has come to a second place for them.
There are agents that work for teams and organizations that look to recruit children with potential talents. They can to a school, a Football academy , or just simply organize a casting. When a kids is picked up they have to sign a contract where it is stated that full training and commodities will be provided to the kid but he passes to be a property of that particular organization. This means that if another team would like to hire that player later, the pass will have to be negotiated and lots of money will have to be paid if the player is good enough.
There is nothing wrong with kids wanting to be football stars. The only problem is that not all the kids with talent get the chance so in a way it can be said that it is also a matter of luck. Kids need to understand this in order to move on if they can’t enter to a club and they have to be able to pursue other dreams.
